What is my username?

Your username is the first 8 characters of your Student ID.

For a new student whose Student ID begins with the character 'S', your username is your complete Student ID. If your Student ID begins with the character 'C' or 'Q', then your username is your Student ID minus the last character.

What is my password?

Default password - If this is the first time you have used e.rolment, your password will be your date of birth preceded by an "s" with a "#" at the end - e.g. if your birth date is 01/09/1978, your default password would be s010978#.

During the course of your initial log on, you will be asked to change your password. This will ensure that all information is provided in a secure environment. Your password must be no more than 8 characters in length and begin with an alpha character. Otherwise, your password is the one you chose for yourself when you first logged on, or if you have changed it since, then the most recent one.

If you have logged into e.rolment previously or studied with us in the past, you need to use your old password and not your abbreviated birthdate. We advise that you use lower case alpha characters to ensure your log on username and password works with all systems.

If you forgot your password, phone the Helpdesk on 1300 666 620 or email: helpdesk@cqu.edu.au for assistance.
