A collection of images of some of the holidays I have taken over the last few years. I make no claims about being a professional, amateur or capable photographer.
The following links contain inline images (small ones). They may take a while to load if you have a slow network link.
The following images indicates I've got a bit of travelling yet to do.
You can create your own visited country map
In early November 1993 I attended the LISA conference in Monterey California. Afterwards I spent three weeks seeing what I could see.
In early 1994 I visited the North Island of New Zealand to visit my sister.
1995 was a quiet year for holidays but made up for that in 1996. A trip to Barcelona for a conference made it possible to visit a couple of more countries. No images for this trip due to moving to a video camera and never getting the chance to digitise the results.
October, 1997 saw a visit to New Brunswick a province on the east coast of Canada.
Well this was the big one, the honeymoon. Sandy and I spent a 7 or 8 days in Hawaii
In early July 2001 the CBLIS'2001 conference was held in Brno in the Czech Republic. I went to present the paper RCOS.java: A simulated operating system with animations. I also had the opportunity to take the odd side trip and make use of the new digital video camera I purchased on the way out of the country.
In 2005 I went to Snowmass to attend the EDUCAUSE Seminar on Academic computing.
